shogun has been missing for four days. i am trying very hard to stay positive. i feel as though anyone who reads this livejournal regularly should know how much she means to me. i think maybe MAYBE i should start preparing for the worst. luckily, i had a really great weekend with some faces i don't see regularly enough. i am also about to eat dinner. mmmm.

school is starting to get stressful, i am surprisingly excited for winter (that will change in about a week), and behind the cut are pictures of people who i love/make me happier than anyone else.

i am going to boston sunday to see think i care, mental and guns up. i am very excited to see think i care, heather, marcus (and trisha?) anddddd go on a road trip all in one day. i am also seeing for the worse and having a sleep over with MY BEST FRIEND DANIAL on saturday, so i am counting on this weekend being very pleasant!

i have been very very exhausted lately. i missed a lot of school this week and gabri and amelia are coming over to bake cookies and brownies with a kitten this evening (hopefully). in case anyone cares, this is the best vegan brownie recipe i have come across:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi sweets are usually vegan)
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1 tbsp. ener-g egg replacer plus 3-4 tbsp. water
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4-1/3 cup additional chocolate chips (optional)(use them)
(and raspberries)
-Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
-Heat chocolate chips and oil in a small saucepan over low heat, mixing occasionally until chips are melted.
-Remove from heat and set aside.
-Mix egg replacer and water, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth.
-Mix in cooled chocolate, stir until very smooth.
-Stir in flour and baking powder until smooth.
-Stir in chocolate chips if using.
-Place in a 8 or 9 inch round or square pan, sprayed with cooking spray.
(put raspberries on top)
-Cook about 20-25 minutes or until brownie springs back when touched.
-Let cool and cut in wedges or squares.
for the record, i put that there for my own personal reference, as well. i keep losing the recipe.
i miss summer all too much, but at the same time really wish i was outside enjoying fall right now. instead i am inside doing this:

thus far, my last week of summer has been pretty great. i can't put into words how anxious i am for this year of school to come and pass, and how excited i am that i will be done with high school in only a few short months.

i am realizing that the best advice i can take is that of anyone who knows what they are talking about, and i've decided that there is no way that i am staying in albany for school. as soon as september starts, my only goal will be to do well enough in school to make 2005 my last full year in this place.

posi numbers weekend was sufficiently fun. i got my fill of ridiculous bullshit and jose cuervo especial for the next month or three.
summer has been treating me very well, my hair is getting long and petsmart wants to hire me as a small animal specialist. i need to pass a drug test first, so gabri is giving me a small container of urine. has anyone ever used one hour flush pills/someone else's urine and been successful/not? let me know.
i visited mount vernon on monday with gabri. we went to my old house and snuck around the back and took pictures. we went to joe's pizzeria and i remembered what the most delicious pizza in new york tastes like (even without cheese). today we volunteered at the SPCA of westchester and played with abused/abandonded cats/kittens for two hours. best two hours ever.
i think i am going to get my right nostril pierced despite loved ones (danial's) disapproval. i miss two dans very much after only two days.

i found out yesterday that i did, indeed, pass all of my classes. relief. after next wednesday, it will officially be summer break and i will be able to relax. i hope to take a lot of road trips and spend a lot of time with ally. i also hope to make it to posi numbers with elaina and gabri. and lastly, i hope that any prospects of future good feelings do not result in disappointment.
within the past three or four days i have watched The Life Aquatic and The Royal Tennenbaums again. i always forget how much i love Wes Anderson and how much both of those movies make me want to cry. someone rent and watch Rushmore with me soon, thanks.
